This website is operated by Young Africans Technology (YATA), a registered nonprofit organisation, registration number 2023 / 866390 / 08, based in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. These terms explain the use of our website and how to enquire about our education programmes.
Our education programmes
YATA provides free technology education and academic support. Programme descriptions explain the skills and subjects we teach. Class availability, tutor matching, schedules, and enrolment depend on the programme and available capacity. Submitting a registration form is an application; a YATA coordinator confirms the next steps.
A parent or guardian should complete an application for a learner under 18. Please provide accurate contact details and discuss any participation requirements with the coordinator. Learning outcomes depend on participation and individual circumstances; website descriptions do not guarantee admission, examination results, certification, or employment.
Using the website
Use the website and learning activities respectfully and lawfully. Do not send spam, submit misleading information, try to access another person's account, disrupt the service, or upload harmful material. Interactive learning exercises are provided for educational practice.
Respect the rights of YATA, learners, volunteers, and other content owners. Contact us before republishing learner photographs, using YATA's branding, or distributing material beyond your personal learning activities.
External services and donations
Registration forms, social networks, messaging services, and payment services open on external platforms. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Please check the destination and details before submitting information or making a payment.
Donations are voluntary and support YATA's work to keep education free. A donation does not purchase admission or a particular learning result. Contact YATA with questions about a donation or payment.
